Soccer is a game of never ending failures. Every team resorts to the triangle offense and 9 times out of 10 it always results in, no shot on goal! The fans set themselves up for the "big let down". 90 minutes of...............nothing!

actualy soccer [what you call it] needs alot of athleticism and if you know soccer is great bcuz every position is a scoring oppurtinity. i dont have hard feelings for American Football [im half American half Portueguese] i just play soccer bcuz i live here in England

They aren't annoying, they're right. Football players wear so much d*mn protection that I'm surprised they even get hurt. Also, why do they call it "Foot"ball when you never use your d*mn foot! Another thing, I see more talk on the field than I do action. "Hike" *pass* *catch* *tackle*. Great play, and it lasted about 10 seconds, what a record! REAL FOOTball on the other hand uses no protection and the ball is constantly in play. Plus, you actually have to have a plan to get the ball around the defending team 'cause you can't use your hands. Although if Americans can call it "Foot"ball why can't Europeans call it "Hand"ball, it'd make just as much sense.
Ain't got that problem over here: they're both the same sport :)

football is boring and only consists of short sprints wirh breaks every ten seconds. soccer players need much more endurance and usually the 0-0 games are the hardest played. and only the pansies complain about their little injuries and i hate them all. but football is defianately not more physically straining than soccer.
the best athletes in the world play in the nfl ,mlb,nba.nhl and if the best athletes in america played soccer we'd be the best but we play real sports not kick the ball around for and hour and hope nobody breaks a nail

no. everyone's entitled to their own opinion. i actually watched about 5 minutes of soccer highlights on ESPN the other night, and i was impressed by their athleticism and skill.

Futbol is way better than the football. I love both but if I had to choose it would be futbol. That's why the world makes fun of Americans. Futbol is 75% mental, 15% physical, while Football is 99% physical, 1% mental. It just says that we're too stupid to use our brain.
